Portraits

I specialize in companion animal portraiture. Cats, dogs, horses, rabbits - you name it, I can paint it! The basic portrait is done in a realistic style, oil on canvas, and comes in three basic sizes and prices:

8"x10" - $210

12"x16" - $340

18"x24" - $450

Custom portraits are available as well, in many different styles, sizes and media such as watercolor, acrylic, collage, charcoal, etc. Prices vary for custom portraits. Paintings are done from photographs so you do not need to be local to order. And I don't discriminate by species, humans can have their portraits done, too... Animal Liberation Art

A struggle very dear to my heart is the plight of animals in our society. I firmly believe that animals are not ours to use for food, clothing, entertainment, experimentation, or sport. They deserve self-determination and the right to live out their natural lives free of unnecessary suffering, just like us. I create artwork dedicated to furthering the liberation of animals. Some pieces are sad, some are uplifting, but I hope that they ALL inspire people to get active and stay active on behalf of the less fortunate nonhumans we share the planet with.

Prints are available of many of these pieces. I keep the cost of prints low - $20, so people will be able to afford them and put them up in their homes, offices or public spaces. Illustration

I am available for any animal-related illustration project, whether it be a children's book, greeting card, poster, billboard or other project. I love to create art that tells a story and helps animals. I am proficient in a number of different physical and graphic media including oil and acrylic paint, watercolor, pencil, charcoal, collage, Photoshop, Illustrator, Pagemaker and more. Murals

Do you want to make your storefront beautiful, or your kitchen interesting? No size is too big! Subject matter is not limited to animals here, and I am willing to travel, so don't hesitate to contact me if you simply like my artistic style. Contact me with your idea or proposal. See examples.

Photography

Does a photographic portrait of your animal better suit your style? I come to you, so I can photograph animals in their everyday environment. I use a digital camera so you can choose your photos on-the-spot, and photos are high resolution, suitable for enlarging and framing. My specialties go beyond animals in this category as well. Graphic Design and Logos

Do you need a brochure for your nonprofit, a logo or business card for your company, or a simple web page? I have experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Pagemaker and GoLive. Landscapes and Other Commissions

I can work from any photograph or copy any style, so if you want a painting of that Hawaiian oceanscape from your honeymoon or a cubist portrait of your baby for a birthday invitation, look no further.
