Your MIXED MEDIA pet portrait will be done by hand, in acrylics, charcoal, pastels and other art media on a 1-2 in. deep wood panel. You will have the opportunity to approve a sketch before I begin work on the final art.
 
You may send photos of your pet via email to amanda@myanimalart.com, before or after ordering. The best photos for these portraits have high contrast.  Think nice, bright sunshine and dark shadows. The more photos, the better. Many clients send links to a Facebook or Instagram account with lots of pictures. We'll work together to find the best pose for this style of portrait.
 
I have 20+ years of experience doing pet portraits for hundreds of happy clients, and truly enjoy this work! I hold an MFA in Illustration, and you can read more about my experience in the "about" section.
 
This portrait will be mailed via USPS, and shipping is calculated at checkout.
 
I require 4 weeks of painting time for this style, contingent on your timely approval of any photos of the work. If you need it done faster, please let me know and I can possibly accomodate.
